PURPOSE:To execute easily and exactly measurement by detecting an oscillation frequency of a shock generated between foreign matters and a plate-shaped member, and displacement of the plate-shaped member, and measuring a weight from the displacement of the plate-shaped member, whenever the foreign matters are discriminated from an oscillation frequency distribution. CONSTITUTION:A detecting part 4 consisting of a diaphragm 41, an elastic body 42 and a fitting base 43 is placed at a prescribed head in the carrying end part of a carrying conveyor 31, and each output of a shock detector 44 and a displacement detector 45 provided in the detecting part 4 is inputted to a foreign matter deciding circuit 52 and a peak value detecting and holding circuit 54 through amplifiers 51, 53 of a weight operation display part 5. Subsequently, in the circuit 52, a signal from the amplifier 51 is compared with a set value and outputted to the circuit 54 when foreign matters 2 are decided, and on all such occasions, a peak value of the signal of the amplifier 53 is detected by the circuit 54 and outputted to a peak value intergrating circuit 55, and its peak value is integrated by the circuit 55 and expressed in terms of weight, and displayed on a display part 56.
