A door surround has a frame part (28) with a casing section (29) and a lining section (30). A casing surface (17) on the casing section (29) is connected via a rebate (23) to a lining surface (18) on the lining section (30). A door leaf engages in this rebate in the closed state. Recessed in the lining section (30) is a groove (31), in which a lining (10) engages as connecting part. Such a frame part (28) can be used with different connecting parts for lining surrounds, block surrounds, facing surrounds and house door arrangements. <IMAGE>
