摘要 |
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled catalytic component with good slurry operability capable of giving low-density polyolefin of narrow composition distribution, by the reaction between tetravalent titanium compound and solid Mg-Al composite having both alkoxy and reducing hydrocarbon groups prepared from liquid magnesium compound. CONSTITUTION:A reaction is carried out between (A) (i) solid Mg-Al composite having R<1>O group (R<1> is hydrocarbon) and R<2>O group (R<2> is hydrocarbon) prepared from liquid magnesium compound, (ii) solid Mg compound having R<1>O group but not having reducing R<2> group prepared from liquid magnesium compound, or (iii) solid Mg compound having R<1>OH group prepared from liquid magnesium compound and (B) an organometallic compound (the metal belonging to the I -III group in the periodic table) to prepare a solid Mg-Al composite insoluble in hydrocarbon such as both R<1>O and R<3> groups (R<3> is hydrocarbon)- contg. solid Mg-Al composite. The resulting composite is then made to react with a tetravalent titanium compound to obtain the objective catalytic component containing at least lower-valent titanium atom.
