CONSTITUTION:An ion of Mo, W, Nb, Ta, V, Ra, and rare earth metal or its metal complex ion extracted or contained in an organic solvent obtained by diluting one or more extractants selected from alkyl sulfate group, carboxylic acid group, oxime group, ketone group, neutral phosphoric ester group, and primary - quaternary amine groups with a petroleum hydrocarbon is brought into contact with an aqueous solution containing F ion and NH4 ion, the ion or complex ion is transferred to the aqueous phase, a fluorine-containing ammonium salt of Mo, W, Nb, Ta, V, Ra or rare earth metal is obtained, and the organic solvent is regenerated.
