The primer consists of a mixture of 70 to 95% by weight of zinc, aluminium, graphite and/or molybdenum sulphide and corrosion-inhibiting pigments and 5 to 30% by weight of organic binders, relative to the dry film layer, and, if appropriate, known additives. Using such a corrosion-inhibiting primer, the inadequate inhibition of corrosion on a thinly electrogalvanised, phosphated or chromated steel sheet is effectively improved, the corrosion inhibition being fully retained even after deformation, and the coated sheets being suitable for spot-welding. |
