A centreboard case (2) with circular-arc-shaped guide grooves (4) is formed in the body (1) of a sailboard. The centreboard case (2) is dimensioned in such a way that it is able to completely accommodate a centreboard (3). In its head area, the centreboard (3) has laterally projecting rollers (34) which are guided in the guide grooves (4). If the centreboard head is displaced in the longitudinal direction of the sailboard, the longitudinal axis of the centreboard (3) describes both a translatory movement and a rotary movement, roughly in accordance with a circle tangent. The centreboard (3) can be extended or retracted with a single manipulation, and on account of the circular-arc-shaped guide grooves (4) only an outlet opening (5) of relatively small dimensions is required for the centreboard (3). <IMAGE>
