In the case of this positively-locking nut lock principle, the formation of the positive lock between the nut and the screw takes place via a lock part which is integrated on the nut. The locking arms (which are provided with blocking elements) of the lock part are radially pressed together by means of a tool or an auxiliary nut, so that the hardened tips of the blocking elements penetrate in a positively-locking manner, and independently of the nut position, into the material of the screw, without play. If the nut and the locking part are elastically connected to one another in a positively-locking or force-fitting manner via a spring element, then in the locked state, the nut is continuously subjected to a restoring torque and, possibly, to an axial restoring force of the stressed spring element in an attracting manner and, possibly, in a pressing-on manner, so that the screw union is also still locked against seating. The screw union is detachable again when the positive lock between the screw and the lock part has been removed by pressing the locking arms apart. The nut, together with the lock part and the screw, are re-usable, and the positively-locking locking process is reproducible and can be mechanised. |
