PURPOSE:To automate a calculation of a latent heat by recording a temperature difference of a sample in a tank which has been subjected to a program temperature control, and a reference liquid, together with a temperature of the liquid, integrating it by a prescribed period in a period in which the temperature difference exceeds a prescribed value, and recording and displaying an integral value at the time point when it has become below the prescribed value. CONSTITUTION:A temperature of a thermal medium 2 in a testing tank 1 is brought to a program control by operating a heater 3 or a refrigerating machine 4 by a temperature sensor 4, a temperature converter 6, a setting device 8, and a temperature regulator 7. Also, a temperature of a reference liquid C in a vessel 9, and investigating samples S1, S2 and S3 in vessels 10-12 is measured by temperature sensors 13-16, respectively, and converted to temperature signals TC, T1-3 by temperature converters 17-20. Moreover, a difference of the signal TC and T1-3 is calculated by an operator 21, also a difference signal is integrated by a prescribed period, and temperature differences DELTAT1-DELTAT3 and integral values SIGMA¦DELTAT1¦, SIGMA¦DELTAT2¦ are recorded in a multi-point recorder 22. Also, this integral value is displayed by a digital indicator 23. |
