PURPOSE:To provide the titled composition containing a specific olefinic polymer, having excellent thermal stability, and giving a coated optical fiber having improved reliability. CONSTITUTION:A diene polymer having OH group at the terminal (e.g. 1,2-polybutadiene) is hydrogenated, and the obtained olefinic polymer having saturated double bond is made to react with a diisocyanate and an acrylic acid ester having OH group to obtain an olefinic polymer (A) having a molecular weight of >=1,000 and having one or more polymerizable unsaturated group (e.g. acryloyl group) on an average 1mol. The component (A) is compounded with (B) a photopolymerization initiator (e.g. 2,2-dimethoxy-2-phenylacetophenone) and (C) a monofunctional acrylate (e.g. 2-hydroxyacrylate) and/or a polyfunctional acrylate (e.g. trimethylolpropane triacrylate).
