PURPOSE:To evade a paper jam fault while the focal point of a condenser lens is secured on original paper by slanting at least part of the opening part of a paper guide to the condenser lens in an image sensor equipped with a photoelectric conversion part where plural photoelectric converting elements are arranged. CONSTITUTION:The paper guide 3 has the opening part so as to irradiate the original paper 2 with light from a light emission part 6, and at least part of this opening part is slanted to the rod lens array. This inclination formation part 11 evades completely the paper jam trouble of the original paper 2 fed out in a subscanning direction through the rotation of a platen roller 1. Namely, the inclination formation part 11 is slanted to the rod lens array 7, so the original paper 2 is prevented from moving around to the paper guide 3. Further, this inclination formation part is made of a material with a high light reflection factor such as metal with a silver surface to improve the illuminance on the original surface 2, and the surface is made rugged at random to correct irregularity of light emission of a light emission part 6.
