PURPOSE:To position many kinds of object through simple operation by using picture data on an object which is positioned correctly and an object to be positioned, and superimposing them one over another on a display screen in different colors. CONSTITUTION:The video signal of the 1st object which is positioned correctly is inputted in specific color by the video selector 11 of a video processor 2a and then A/D-converted, and the resulting signal is written in video memory 13 directly or after being converted into a binary signal by a binarizer 14. In another way, correct position data on the object is written in auxiliary memory 5 as mentioned above. Then, the contents of the memory 13 or 5 are read out and a picture of the 1st object is displayed on a color TV4 in specific color. Then, the video signal of the 2nd object to be positioned is displayed on the TV4 as mentioned above, but in different color, thereby positioning the object.
