In a temperature-control system for the controlled supply of heat or cold to a temperature-control device the latter is an elastic cushion or bed through which temperature-controlled water flows for thermotherapy or cryotherapy of parts of a human or animal body, the cushion or bed being in contact with the body parts to be treated during operation and being connected via flexible, insulated connecting hoses to a closed heating or cooling unit.
