<p>PURPOSE:To conduct recycling of a ceramic filter at an optimum condition without causing damage by regulating a high temperature generating burner by using both the temperature of high-temperature gas and differential pressure of the high-temperature between gas pressure measured before and after a ceramic filter. CONSTITUTION:A vessel 5 containing a filter carrier 4 which has caught soot is removed from an engine and placed on a table 17. Next, a burner 16 is ignited. Temperature of combustion gas is measured by means of both a temperature detector 15a and a thermometer 15 and kept at a predetermined value by a temperature regulating device. Combustion gas enters the vessel 5 and makes the soot sticking to the filter carrier 4 burn. Then the gas is discharged via an exhaust pipe 19. While the combustion gas passes through the filter carrier, differential pressure between differential pressure detector parts 14a and 14b is lowered to converge into a constant value soon. This shows that recycling process of the filter is over.</p> |
