PURPOSE:To smoothly and rapidly start a brushless motor by providing a resistance circuit in parallel with an armature coil, and controlling to switch an exciting current in response to the potential difference variation of the neutral connecting points of the resistance circuit and the armature coil. CONSTITUTION:A resistance circuit 22 in which resistors 22a 22c set to correspond to the phases of 3-phase armature coils 14 are coupled in a Y-connection, is provided in a controller 21 which has an inverter 20 for a motor 11. The potential difference variation between the neutral connecting points of the circuit 22 and the coils 14 is detected by an integrator 23, its output is applied to a frequency divider 23, the inverter 20 is controlled by the output of the divider 24, thereby controlling to switch the exciting current for the coils 14. |
