PURPOSE:To improve variations in speed with respect to variations in load of a main engine, to improve the followability upon change of set speeds, to obtain an excellent control performance upon transient and steady state operation, to enhance the control performance as possible as it can, and as well to aim at saving fuel consumption, by carrying out the control of the main engine taking into account of the feature of the dynamic characteristic of the main engine. CONSTITUTION:A compensator 6 calculates a generated torque from a main engine in accordance with the difference between output signals (a, b) from a PI control section 4 and the compensator 6 itself, which is an actuator position instructing signal (b), and multiplies the generated torque by a gain F to obtain a local feed-back signal (c). When set speed is changed, if the generated torque from the main engine which is calculated by the compensator 6 in accordance with the signal (b) is small, the signal (c) is small and therefore the signal (a) is compensated to be slightly reduced so that the signal (b) has a value corresponding to a deviation (d) in speed. On the contrary, the generated torque from the main engine is large, the signal (a) is compensated to be largely reduced, and therefore, the signal (b) has a value very smaller than a signal corresponding to the speed deviation (d). That is, when the torque is small, the amount of fuel injection is increased while, when it is large, the amount of fuel injection is restrained. |
