PURPOSE:To prevent any trouble in time of idling, by installing a second controlling device based on each detection signal out of an idle sensor, an engine speed sensor and a throttle opening sensor if a temperature sensor gets out of order in time of idle running, while operating this device in preference to a first controlling device in time of ordinary running. CONSTITUTION:A control unit 15 is provided with a first controlling device M1 which outputs a first control signal based on each signal out of a throttle opening sensor 8, an idle switch 9, a water temperature sensor 11, and an engine speed sensor 12 to a motor 5 of an actuator 4. In addition, it is also provided with a device J which judges that something goes wrong with this water temperature sensor 11 at a time when output out of the sensor 11 goes beyond the specified limiting value. With each signal out of this trouble judging device J and these sensors 8, 9 and 12, when the water temperature sensor 11 is judged to be trouble, there is a second controlling device M2 which outputs a second control signal to the motor 5 in preference to the first controlling device M1, excluding a detection signal out of the water temperature sensor 11, thereby preventing an idling state from getting out of order. |
