In a crushing roller for crushing roller mills having a replaceable, in particular turnable hard outer casing ring which is fitted without tension onto a hub and fixed there so as to be non displaceable axially and radially, a solution is to be provided with which the connection and securing is ensured in the axial and in the radial direction of the closure part of the hard outer casing ring without play. This is achieved in that, for the purpose of fixing, at least one resilient, essentially circular shaped machined element (8, 8%) is provided between hard outer casing and hub as a means of safeguarding against radial movements. <IMAGE>
