A short-circuiting slide for millimetric wave arrangements, especially oscillators, in a waveguide train. In conjunction with the waveguide, a threaded hole is incorporated whose base area is faced and whose diameter is greater than the waveguide diagonal/diameter. A screw whose end surface is faced and has a recess is inserted into the threaded hole. The depth of the recess defines the location of the short-circuit.
