A photographic camera with automatic exposure measurement and a setting device for varying the film speed set is described, in which the set value of the film speed can be varied electrically (override) by means of a manually operable adjusting element, and which has setting marks for defined variation values of the film speed. In addition, a manually operable locking device is provided for varying - with or without the aid of said adjusting element - the instantaneously set value of the film speed. Said locking device permits further, short-term corrections of the film exposure via additional variations in the value of the film speed.
