PURPOSE:To obtain the efficient heat exchanger for the heat pump type room air conditioner by a method wherein first fins are constituted of flat fins and secound fins are of corrugated fins while the pitch of the first fins is determined to be larger than the same of the second fins and the first fins are arranged upstream of the second fins. CONSTITUTION:The first fin 6a is constituted of the flat fin and the second fin is constituted of the corrugated fin provided with protruded or recessed drawn sections while the pitch of the upstream side first fins 6a is determined so as to be larger than the same of the downstream side second fins 6b. According to this method, the ball of dew is flowed easily in case the ball of dew 11 is adhered to the first fin 6a because of the flat fin, further, air passes through the fins sufficiently because of the wide pitch of the fins while the air can effect heat exchange sufficiently on the second corrugated fins having high heat transfer efficiency, therefore, room heating capacity will never be deteriorated by the balls of dew water. |
