The invention relates to a gas insulated switchgear equipment comprising bus means (1, 2) substantially parallelly supported on a mounting surface, circuit breakers (CB1, CB2, CB3, CB4) disposed on one side of said bus means (1, 2) along a disposition line substantially parallel with said bus means, an axial line of each of said circuit breakers being substantially perpendicular to said disposition line, and a first and a second electric line (13a-13c, 15a-15c) connected to each of said circuit breakers. The invention is characterized in that at least four circuit breakers (CB1, CB2, CB3, CB4) are provided and that the bus means (1a, 1b, 2, 16) electrically connect said circuit breakers in ring form to provide a ring bus system. Thus, the number of components which are common to the individual switchgear units can be increased.
