<p>PURPOSE:To improve the steering feeling by installing an actuator which applies an auxiliary steering force through the control according to the prescribed function of a steering force and applying an auxiliary righting force for the steering angle through the control according to the steering angle. CONSTITUTION:When a handle 1 is operated to apply a torque onto a handle shaft 2, a torque signal (tau) is outputted from a torque sensor 6. Said signal (tau) is inputted into a controller 11, which drives an electric motor 7 to apply an auxiliary steering force. The controller 11 controls the electric motor 7 in high speed so that the driving force of the motor 7 is reduced or the drive of the motor 7 is brought into stop according to a car-speed signal V. Further, when the torque signal (tau) reduces less than a prescribed value on releasing steering, the controller 11 controls the motor 7 so that the auxiliary righting force is generated in the opposite direction to the auxiliary steering force by the aid of the steering signal (theta) supplied from a steering-angle sensor 10.</p> |
