PURPOSE:To obtain the desired steering ratio correctly by controlling the rear- wheel steering angle in correspondence with the turning angle and the tilt angle of a turning member which is turned according to the handle steering angle, by varying the tilt angle which the turning trajectory plane of the turning member froms with respect to a prescribed standard plane. CONSTITUTION:The turning member 29 of a steering-ratio varying apparatus E is constituted of an intermediate member 32 connected in turnable ways onto a holder 30 by a pin 31, and the second member 33 fitted in slidable ways at the top edge part of the intermediate member 32. The holder 30 is rotatably retained onto a chassis F, around the line l2 which crosses at right angles with the transfer axis line l1 of a transfer member 26. A turning providing arm 48 is turned through gears 50 and 49 according to the handle operation angle, and the turning member 29 is turned around the pin 31 by the turning of the turning providing arm 48. The transfer member 26 is transferred by the turning of the turning member 29, and a control valve 16 is controlled. Further, the amount of transfer of the turning member 26 can be varied by varying the tilt angle of the pin 31 by turning the holder 30 by a motor 53, and thus the steering-ratio can be varied. |
