PURPOSE:To assure the exact separation of recording paper without the need to raise the accuracy of parts by attaching an elastic plate to the tip of a recording paper separating plate with a V-shaped cross section for typewriter, etc., over its whole length with the aid of an adhesive. CONSTITUTION:In case where the tip 13b of a recording paper separating plate 5 and the peripheral surface of the platen 3 are not parallel with each other due to the disorder of dimensions, an elastic plate 14 on the side where the tip 13b of the plate 5 is separated from the peripheral surface of the platen 3 is ready to return to the position as shown by a broken line 14a, and an elastic plate 14 on the side where the tip 13 of the plate 5 comes near the peripheral surface of the platen 3 is more flexed than at the position as shown by the full line. The tip on any side of the plate 14 is not separated from the platen 3. The need to movably support the separating plate 5 can be eliminated only by fixing the plate 14 to the separating plate by bonding, and the dimensional and positional accuracies need not be raised to high degrees. The recording device can thus be obtained simply at low cost. |
