PURPOSE:To facilitate getting on and off an automobile by making use of a door operation as an elevation operating means of side supports. CONSTITUTION:Side supports 21 are provided on both sides of a seat cushion 2. The frontal end of the support frame 22 of a left-side support 21 on the door side is pivoted on a cushion frame 6, and the side support on the rear side is made elevatabel. A control wire 32 is provided between the side support 21 and the door 31, and an elevation operation of the side support 21 is interlocking with an opening and closing operation of the door 31. The control wire 32 is provided on the outside of a door hinge 39, and an inner wire 37 is pushed toward a support frame 22 side when the door is opened, and the inner wire 37 is pulled to the door side 31 with the operation of closing the door. Stoppers 29, 30 for locking the side frame 22 at elevating end lowering positions are provided on the cushion frame 6.
