PURPOSE:To discharge a gas in a cavity on the filling of a molten material efficiently by communicating the cavity with the outside air through a gas leakage member, which is mounted to the outer circumferential end of the cavity and consists of a porous metal. CONSTITUTION:When a mold is opened, the end surface 17a of a gas leakage member 17 composed of a porous metal and a stamper 5 are brought close at a regular interval, and a circumferential surface 17b demarcates the circumferentail surface of a cavity together with a fixing-side mold 3a and a movable-side mold 3b. When a molten material is filled, a gas in the cavity moves in the direction of an outer circumference, flows into a large number of holes in the gas leakage member 17 when the gas is compressed to some extent, and is discharged from the cavity smoothly and efficiently to the outside through a gas outflow hole 18 and a through-hole 19. Accordingly, the molten material can be filled at high speed, a cycle-up is attained, and trouble, such as cloudiness resulting from defective discharge, the sink mark of the outer circumference, etc. is eliminated. |
