PURPOSE:To contrive to obtain high expansion ratio and moreover the uniform skin layer of a foam by a method in which after the plastisol of vinyl chloride resin caused to become liquid foam by mechanical foaming has been poured into a mold, and has been solidified by heating, it is cooled and taken out from the mold. CONSTITUTION:An insert fitting 31 is preliminarily set in a cavity 22. When liqquid foam L is poured, the temperature of molds 2 is kept at 5-30 deg.C, feeding cooled thermalmedium into a chamber 23, whereby the fluidity of the foam L is surely kept, and simultaneously the occurrence of color unevenness is prevented. After the cavity has been filled, the heated thermal medium is supplied into the chamber 23, and the mold 2 is heated to the temperature equal to or higher than 150 deg.C. The liquid foam L is hardened by gellation. The inside of the foam becomes foamed layer, and its surface becomes unfoamed skin layer by heat fusion under pressure. The foam molding is taken out by opening the mold, after the temperature of the mold 2 has been lowered to 80 deg.C or lower. |
