PURPOSE:To efficiently execute the repairing and paint works for the undersurface of a floating working base by installing the working base over the stay erected into a ballast chamber at the lower edge and installing guide wheels at the upper edge and allowing the guide wheels to contact with the undersurface of the floating working base by adjusting the buoyancy of the ballast chamber. CONSTITUTION:A stay 2 is erected into a ballast chamber 1 which is connected to a compressed-air source and in which the amount of seawater can be freely adjusted. A working platform 3 is formed over the stay 2, and a plurality of guide stays 4a-4d are installed, keeping a prescribed interval, onto the outer periphery of the working platform 3, and guide wheels 9 which contact with the undersurface 31 of a floating working base 30 are installed at the upper edges of the guide stays. The guide wheel 9 is allowed to contact with the undersurface 31 of the floating working base 30 by adjusting the buoyancy of the ballast chamber 1, and repairing and paint works can be carried-out efficiently.
