PURPOSE:To ease operation of side supports, increase holding force thereof, and facilitage getting on and off an automobile by elevating the side supports with the operation of a cam and making it lockable at elevating and lowering positions by means of a lock means. CONSTITUTION:Side supports 21 are provided on both sides of a cushion frame 6. The frontal end of the support frame 22 of the left side support 21 on the door side is pivoted on the cushion frame 6, and the rear end is made elevatable. A cam member 30 is also pivoted on the cushion frame 6, and the pin of the support frame 22 is slidingly fitted in a guide groove 34 by means of the cam member 30, and a seat is operated by an operating lever 31. The operating lever 31 is locked with the locking plate 38 of the cushion frame 6, whereby the side supports 21 are fixed at elevating and lowering positions. The cam member 30 may be operated with a drive motor.
