PURPOSE:To remove safely oil contained in gas flow at high speed for a long period by providing an oil absorbent layer to the lowerstream side of a filter film made of electrically nonconductive material and a blow-off hole of the gas contg. oil to the upstream side. CONSTITUTION:Oil-contg. gas is entered from an inlet pipe 1 and blown-off in a main body vessel 2 from a blow-off port 5 through a blow-off hole 4 and passed through a filter film 8 and the oil is removed via perforated holes 6 of a film supporting body 7 and an oil absorbent layer 9 successively and practically oil- free gas is discharged from an outlet pipe 10. Total area of many blow-off ports 5 is (a) and total area of many perforated holes 6 is (b) and b/a is 1-1,000. An angle formed by the straight line A and straight line B is alpha and an angle formed by the straight line C and the straight line D is beta and preferably alpha, beta are 0-45 deg. respectively.
