PURPOSE:The titled yarns that are made by adding a Ca compound, a Li compound and a P compound to the polyester, thus being thick and thin yarns containing particles inside and having specific ratio of the thick part to the thin part and a specific difference in orientation to show good dry touch with high slidability and transparency. CONSTITUTION:In the production of polyester by the polymerization of a slurry consisting of terephthalic acid and ethylene glycol, the slurry is combined with a calcium compound such as calcium acetate, a lithium compound such as lithium acetate and a phosphorus compound such as phosphoric acid and the resultant poester is spun into undrawn yarn. The undrawn yarn 1 is drawn through godet roller 2 and between the feed roller 3 with a projection 4 on its surface and the draw roller 5 and wound up into a pirn 6 to give the objective yarn containing inside particles, thickn and thin structure where the ratio of filament fineness of the thick part to the thin part is 1.2-1.8 and having difference in orientation. |
