PURPOSE:The titled composition useful for nutrition supply for a patient before or after operation, obtained by blending protein, glucide, lipid, vitamin and mineral as main components with a specific amount based on the solid components of polyglycerin fatty acid ester. CONSTITUTION:A composition comprising 10-40wt% (wt% based on solid content of nutritive compound) protein or its hydrolyzate (easily digestible, high nutritive value; egg protein, soybean protein, etc.), 50-80wt% glucide (e.g., starch, dextrin, etc.), 5-35wt% lipid (e.g., fatty acid such as linoleic acid, etc., soybean oil, etc.), vitamin and mineral as main components is blended with 0.1- 10wt% polyglycerin fatty acid ester, an ester between a polyglycerin having 3- 10 polymerization degree and a fatty acid, and a number of ester bonds of 1- 10, as an emulsifying agent, to give a nutritive composition through tube having improved emulsion stability of lipid component, good digestion and good absorption.
