Peanut oil is manufactured for use as a vegetable oil. Thus, 5kg hulled peanuts were digested for 3 min. in a heated water bath at 100≦̸C. After dehydration of the digested peanuts, they were degested again at 100≦̸C in 7.5 water, and then heated for 5 min. at 140≦̸C at 2.0 kg/cm2 pressure to produce 2.047 kg clear peanut oil with a specific gravity of 0.918.
