<p>PURPOSE:To reduce number of picture elements and to simplify hardware and software for signal processing by detecting brightness of the light of linearly arranged optical fibers by a one-dimensional image sensor and converting it to an electrical signal. CONSTITUTION:A picture information transmitting section 5 made by bundling plural optical fibers F1-F16 is placed between an object mark 1 and an image sensor 4. End faces of plural optical fibers are arranged in square form on one end face of the picture information transmitting section 5, and end faces of plural optical fibers are arranged linearly on another end face. The image sensor 4 is a one-dimensional image sensor provided corresponding to end faces of linearly arranged plural optical fibers. Accordingly, the light including optical picture of the object mark 1 is irradiated onto an end face of the picture information transmitting section 5, and then comes out from another end face through the transmitting section, and then, the brightness is detected by the one-dimensional image sensor 4.</p> |
