PURPOSE:To prevent wrinkles and defects occurring at the time of shrinkage by actuating the row of heaters arranged inside a photosensitive drum along the drum axis in succession to heat a heat-shrinkable film covering the drum. CONSTITUTION:A cylindrical substrate made of aluminum or the like is coated with a coating material contg. a photoconductor and a resin, and after drying, a plastic protective layer is formed by coating this photoconductive layer. Further, it is coated with an adhesive material, such as paraffin or synthetic rubber type adhesive, and finally, covered with a heat-shrinkable film. A heating device formed by aligning 2-20 heaters in a line is inserted into the drum in its axial direction, and the heaters are energized one by one from one end to cause shrinkage of said film in the order of heating. |
