A blind plastic rivet which has a head part and a shear part which are totally polymerized and a partially polymerized head-formation part. The head-formation part is deformed when heated owing to the tightening (straining) of a centrally arranged mandrel (chuck) for forming therewith a blind rivet which has a totally polymerized blind head.
