PURPOSE:To obtain the titled molded article having a low coefficient of linear expansion and excellent impact resistance, by pelletizing a mixture of a vinyl chloride resin, gypsum fibers, wood flour, an air-release agent, and specified modifiers, followed by extrusion thereof. CONSTITUTION:100pts.wt. vinyl chloride resin, 5-50pts.wt. wood flour dried at a temperature of 100 deg.C or higher for 30min or longer, 5-50pts.wt. gypsum fibers, 0.3-2pts.wt. silicone air-release agent, 5-20pts.wt. of at least one modifier selected from among chlorinated PE, an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer, an acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer, and a methyl methacrylate-butadiene- styrene copolymer, are mixed, and the mixture is kneaded in a kneader and pelletized. The pellets are mixed at a temperature of 100 deg.C or higher for 30min or longer in a hopper drier, and extruded with a vent-type extruder at a resin temperature of 175 deg.C or lower. |
