<p>PURPOSE:A magnetic foam material having a good touch to the skin and excellent magnetically curing effect, made by infiltrating or applying a latex with a powdered ferromagnetic compound such as ferrite, etc. incorporated therein into or on a specified synthetic-resin foam material. CONSTITUTION:A foamed synthetic resin material 1 having a rugged surface, obtained by cutting along the chain line a-a a resin material 1 such as a urethane foam formed by compressing under pressure with a forming die 2, is dipped in a latex 3 such as a rubber or vinyl chloride latex with a vulcanizing agent, a filler, an age resistor, etc. incorporated therein, and is sufficiently impregnated therewith. The infiltrated latex 3 is squeezed out with squeezing equipment such as rolls 6 to form a thin latex film adhered to the cell walls of the resin material 1. A mixed liquid, made by mixing magnetized ferrite or other iron powders, or powders or particles of Co, Ni, Mn, Cr or their ferromagnetic compound 4 in the same latex as the aforementioned, is applied on or is infiltrated into and applied on the resin material 1, which is vulcanized to give the magnetic foam material.</p> |
