PURPOSE:A food for promoting metabolism of water in the body and for promoting health of the eyes, containing Parasilurus asotus as an essential component. CONSTITUTION:For example, 10pts.wt. dried rhizome Imperata cylindrica L.P. BEAUVOUS Var.Koenigii is blended with 6-8pts.wt. shell of an ear shell, 2.5- 4.5pts.wt. Chrysanthenum morifolium Hemsl, 0.4-0.7wt% Parasilurus asotus, and 4-6pts.wt. Angelica keiskei Koidz, to give the desired food. When the mixed components are used in a powdered state, they are pulverized into <=50 meshes and added to a food. When they are used as an extracted essence, the components are extracted with water or an aqueous alcohol under heating. |
