In the landscaping and covering of a sound-proofing screen, consisting of wood fibres bonded by cement, the screen is sprayed or coated, after fixing, with a mixt. of water, carboxymethylcellulose, a dispersion, with less than 50 wt.% solids, of a non-film-forming butadiene/styrene copolymer, contg. a fatty acid and resin acid emulsifier blood meal, fine heather and/or grass compost, and small portions of climbing plants and/or seeds. The mixt. esp. contains CMC, 'Curasol' AE (RTM: copolymer dispersion), blood meal, heather compost, grass compost, roots of climbing plants, seeds, and water. Partic., the amts. are 10 wt.% CMC, 10% copolymer dispersion, 15% blood meal, 10% heather compost, 10% grass compost, 10% roots fo climbing plants, 5% seeds, and 30% water.
