<p>A magnetized separating device for use with granular material, such as in a livestock feeding system. One or more paddle wheels having magnetized end portions on the paddles can be positioned in silo spouts or deflectors or at the end of an auger or feed conveyor. The paddles are contacted and rotated in response to the flow of grain or feed. Metal particles, nuts, bolts, etc. are captured on the paddles.</p> |
