PURPOSE:To uniformalize always normal and reverse reproduced outputs in an auto-reverse tape recorder by constituting a mechanism so that the height and the azimuth of a magnetic head can be adjusted independently in accordance with the magnetic tape reproducing direction. CONSTITUTION:For the purpose of adjusting the height, a height turning lever 25 is fitted to the outside peripheral part of a head sleeve 23 freely turnably, and two height adjusting screws 26a and 26b are engaged with this lever. One of these height adjusting screws 26a and 26b collides with the head of the first reference pin 27, which is stood on a bottom plate 20, by turning of the height turning lever 26. For the purpose of adjusting the azimuth, an aximuth turning lever 28 is fitted loosely to the second supporting rod 24. Azimuth adjusting screws 29a and 29b are engaged with this lever. One of these azimuth adjusting screws 29a and 29b collides with the head of the second reference pin 30 when the azimuth turning lever 28 is turned. |
