The connection device according to the invention for connecting a cannula to a transfusion tube for continuous infusion of a fluid, in particular insulin, into a patient is characterised in that there is connected to that end of the cannula remote from the patient, in the form of a flexible short catheter (1), an open hollow support (12) which can be releasably connected to an axially bored attachment (17) of the transfusion tube (16), in that a piercable membrane (15) of elastic material is arranged in the hollow support (12), and in that there is secured on the attachment (17) of the transfusion tube (16) a steel cannula (19) whose pointed end projects a distance beyond the end face of the attachment (17) and pierces the membrane (15).
