FUEL INJECTION RATE CONTROLLER FOR DISTRIBUTED FUEL INJECTION PUMP

PURPOSE:To improve the accuracy of injection rate control by communicating the pressure chamber at the side not communicatable with the fuel pressure feed chamber partitioned through a plunger in an injection rate control chamber communicated with the fuel pressure feed chamber to the low pressure chamber through a solenoid valve. CONSTITUTION:An injection rate control plunger 19 is arranged slidably in an injection rate control chamber 18 communicated with a fuel pressure feed chamber 31. The pressure chamber 20 at the side not communicatable with the fuel pressure feed chamber 31 partitioned through said plunger 19 is communicated through a solenoid valve 6 and a supply port 11 to the low pressure chamber 8. When controlling the amount of fuel in the pressure chamber 20 through the solenoid valve 6 to vary the stroke of the plunger 19, the injection rate is controlled. In such a manner, the injection rate can be controlled highly accurately.
