The contact arrangement of the power switch (2) is in a housing (7) which is gas-tight sealed against a collecting rail (25) housing (13). The contact arrangement for the disconnecting switch is provided in the collecting rail housing (13), and that of the power switch (2) housing (7) has an insulating material wall (12) which provides gas-tight closure of an aperture in the collecting rail housing (13). - This insulating wall (12) carries a current connection (14) feeding into the collecting rail housing (13). The end of this connection inside the power switch housing (7) is conductively connected to the contact arrangement of the power switch, and its end inside the collecting rail housing is connected to that of the disconnecting switch. The connection (14) end inside the collecting rail housing (13) is connected also to a coupling part (16) which incorporates an earthable contact (17) and the first (17) of the two contacts of the disconnecting switch.
