PURPOSE:To give satisfactory slidability and to prevent attraction of a magnetic head by holding an appropriate amount of lubricant on a sliding surface of a magnetic head always. CONSTITUTION:A phenolic acrylate resin mixed with alumina powder is applied to a magnetic disk outer periphery (head loading zone) where the magnetic head stays during stoppage of a disk. Continuously heat treatment is executed at a temperature of 200 deg.C for 30min, and a resin film 3 including alumina powder is formed. Then a liquid lubricant is spin-coated on the head loading zone. The resin film 3 constituted in such a way has no attraction of a magnetic head and shows the satisfactory lubricity. This is a reason why an interface between the alumina powder and the phenolic acrylate resin in the resin film 3 performs a function of a bank of a liquid lubricant, namely, the interface impregnates the excess lubricant and attraction of a magnetic head never occur since a little of lubricant remains on the surface. The slidability is enhanced because a lubricant oozes out due to abrasion pressure at the time of sliding a magnetic head and the abrasion is smaller.
