PURPOSE:To provide a bonding agent which protects the human body from being injured by the scattering of pieces of glass, consisting of a modified copolymer obtd. by grafting acrylic acid onto the partially hydrolyzate of an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer. CONSTITUTION:Optionally, a silane coupling agent such as gamma-aminopropyltriethoxysilane, an antioxidant, an ultraviolet light absorber, etc. are blended with a modified copolymer contg. acetoxy, hydroxyl and carboxyl groups and having an MI of 10-20g/min, a density of 0.95-0.96, a vicat softening point of 50-95, a strength of 220-270kg/cm<2> and an elongation of 500-650%, obtd. by grafting acrylic acid onto the partially hydrolyzate of an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer.
