PURPOSE:To make rearranging of pages of an original without requiring the work of an operator by providing a controlling device that carries the original again onto a platen after removing paper that cause paper jamming. CONSTITUTION:When paper jamming takes place, paper that caused paper jamming is removed, and a clutch 4 is made on by depressing the start button of a console 43 after closing the door, and rollers 3, 6, and a belt 8 etc. are operated continuously to circulate the original to an original tray 2. When the last original is discharged from the tray 2, an output signal is generated from a set separate sensor 12, and the clutch 4 is turned off. An original feed counter is reset to ''0'' as the set separate sensor 12 is turned on, and the original is set to the tray 2 under this condition. The counted values of an original feed counter coincide with the counted values of discharged copies. Thus, operation of original setting is completed. |
