PURPOSE:To automate the ship breaking work, by arranging several torches upward and downward at a truss, which is hung on a truck which travels along the upper deck as a guide, cutting the broadside laterally into some pieces, after that, cutting the pieces. CONSTITUTION:The upper deck near the broadside is flatted by taking off irregular things, and a truck 10 is set as it can travel freely, along the upper deck as a guide. A truss 11 is hung on the truck 10, and torches 12 are arranged at the truss 11, upward and downward at equal intervals. The broadside is cut laterally at a time as the broadside is separated upward and downward into some parts, as the truck 10 is made to be travelling. After that, the vertical cutting work is done, and the outside board of the broadside is cut into some plate brocks in checkerboard pattern. In the past, all process of ship breaking work was manually operated, but it can be automated and can be operated safely and efficiently, in this way.
