PURPOSE:To extract a dial number having a strong similarity from a storage device and to transmit it to an exchange by providing an associative retrieval function of dial numbers even if a dial number having partly wrong numerals from the stored dial number is inputted. CONSTITUTION:A caller depresses an associative retrieval start key 1 and inputs a dial number having wrong numerals from a dial section 6. When a CPU11 receives the associative retrieval start signal, an associative retrieval program stored in a ROM13 is read and the execution is started. When the inputted dial number is coincident with the dial number extracted from a RAM9, the content of a register (b) in an operation register 8 is transmitted to a display section 12 and displayed. When the dial number dissident in digit is only ''1'', the content of the register (b) is transmitted to a display section 12 and displayed. When the dial number displayed on a display panel displaying the content of the display section 12 is coincident with the expectation of the caller, the caller depresses a confirming key 3 (confirming signal) and the associative retrieval process is finished. |
